Long time, no post

I've been tucked away here in my own little world. Hubby's been working lots of overtime, which is good for the pocketbook but not for the love life. Eh.
No knitting goin' on here. Sorry. I did just get 14 skeins of Shine Sport from KnitPicks today in the Hydrangea colorway for the "Boobalicious Tank" in Big Girl Knits. My friend Catherine said I'd look fine in a tank top (I have my doubts), and I'd like something that shows off my tattoo. I can't believe my order came in before Stitch-In! I intend on getting it started before (next Tuesday), but I'm not holding my breath. I know how I am.
In other news, my knitting is on hold mostly because I've been reading so much. I decided to study Buddhism to get in touch with my spiritual side in a non-religious way. Lots to learn! Right now I'm reading The Complete Idiot's Guide to Understanding Buddhism, which is really informative. So much so, I had to start a journal to keep track of information. Next up is Awakening the Buddha Within by Lama Surya Das.
Oh! And next Thursday I go and see Michael Buble in Madison!!!!!
